to start?
Need a refreshing break after a long journey? You’re in luck! In July and August, come and take a dip in the inter-communal outdoor swimming pool next to the campsite! There’s nothing like a breath of fresh air and a few rays of sunshine to relax in peace and quiet, in the large pool or the paddling pool… Preferential rates on admission tickets available at reception!

Reception
Whether you need information, advice or even just a smile, the reception desk is your go-to place. We will be happy to welcome you and advise you on things to do in the area! Take advantage of preferential rates at must-see tourist attractions nearby: the Château de Chambord and the Clos Lucé.
Bread depot
Good local bread and crisp pastries to start the day! Order the day before for the next day at reception. Service available in July and August.
Small grocery shop
Need to stock up or take home a little local souvenir? The small grocery shop on the campsite offers a range of local products, carefully selected for you to enjoy or to slip into your suitcase!
The practical side!
Motorhome service area
A waste disposal and refilling area is at your disposal.
Laundry
Because even on holiday, laundry sometimes calls: the campsite has a laundromat at your disposal, so you’ll never be short of clean clothes.
Cyclist-friendly
Are you cycle tourists? Le Pont Romain campsite has everything you need for a pleasant stay, whether you are stopping for one night or a few days (maintenance, secure garage, small kitchenette, etc.).
Living room
For quiet, relaxing breaks, head to the lounge (next to reception), which is available for campers to use. We lend out board games!
To stay active!
Playground
Need to keep the little ones occupied? Head to the campsite’s playground, located near reception (ages 3-10)! And for (even more) fun and a great time with the family, there’s an area set up on the banks of the Cher river with playgrounds, cabins, a beginner’s BMX track and a picnic area, right next to the campsite!
Outdoor games
A large pétanque court is available for your use, located next to the snack bar (ideal for refreshments between games…). For those who would like to challenge each other to a tennis tournament, several courts are available outside the campsite.
